When I started Glo Derma, I wanted to build an aesthetics and wellness experience that provided exceptional services for our amazing clients. But it was so much more than just that. I was tired of the copycat culture of aesthetics, and my goal was to create something totally fresh—a place with fun, positive energy that felt like an oasis from the moment you step foot in the door. I wanted to build the model that it’s not just about getting a treatment and leaving; It’s about looking and feeling your best.
And we achieved that. Our clients love coming to us for their injectable treatments, IV drips, spa services, or even just to say hello and grab an espresso or freshly made smoothie.
But now it’s 2018, and it’s all about innovation, growth, and turning up the volume even more. As always, we are laser-focused on improving the overall client experience so every single person who visits us has a more than exceptional experience and leaves Glo Derma feeling the best version of themselves.
Our three-step plan for 2018 is to innovate, expand, and partner up. Here is a brief preview of the incredible things that I have up my sleeves this year.
Take a global approach. We have no interest in mimicking our competitors. That is one of the reasons why I created The Sprinkle®. When I approach injectable treatments, I am constantly looking for the most innovative approaches that also offer the best outcome for each individual. This is why I look outside of our local bubble and take a more global approach. Through collaboration with other experts in injectables and ongoing education, I can provide the best and most quality work to my clients. I keep an extremely close eye on what is happening in aesthetics and integrative wellness worldwide so that you can get everything you need, right here in Bucks County.
Take an integrative approach to wellness. One of the things that separates GD from our competition is that we assess our clients at a 360-degree approach. We want to care for each individual as a whole person and ensure the overall positive well-being of our clients. Our goal is to help you live healthier and feel amazing from the inside out. So, in 2018, we’re focused on integrating all of the components that make us healthy, including movement, nutrition, healing, spiritual wellness, aesthetics, and education so that you can live your best life possible.
Introduce wellness workshops. We’re bringing in some of the foremost experts in a variety of topics, from healthy eating, fitness, and mindfulness. We are launching our first this upcoming Wednesday—Sugar Rehab. There was a time when I thought mindfulness and spiritual wellness was just buzz words, but after opening Glo Derma and my visit to Canyon Ranch this past December, I am a true believer and want to share what I have learned and brought into practice into my own life.
Grow the squad. We’re not interested in having the biggest staff. We want the best. That’s why we are adding passion driven squad members who are experts and share in our vision. Glo Derma is fueled by a team who love helping others look and feel their best, and that’s what we will continue to do.
Expand the footprint. We are building people! When I first saw the space we eventually turned into Glo Derma, I know I wanted to turn our lower level into something really special. This spring, we will introduce a fully renovated Drip Lounge, the first of its kind in the region, new treatment rooms, and a ton of other amazing surprises.
Visit Canyon Ranch. Canyon Ranch was an incredible experience for my husband, Chris, and I, and we learned so much from the true pioneers of integrative medicine and lifestyle management during our time there. When I got home, I immediately reached out to Canyon Ranch and developed a relationship, and we will share those benefits with you, our clients in the form of special pricing and innovative treatments.
